Karin Lockovitch is a dedicated and passionate individual in her professional career as a Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer in the financial services industry, as well as in her personal pursuits as an advocate for the protection and education of children and the promotion of girls and women in leadership.

Karin Lockovitch’s passion for leadership and creating impactful change in an organization and industry is the backbone of her professional pursuits.  Her career spans over two decades in financial services, across multiple locations across the U.S. and Internationally, and with increasing levels of responsibility, including as Executive Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer at several large regional banks. Her leadership strengths and passion in managing organizational and cultural change, leading large and complex organizations, driving the adoption of innovation and advanced technological and analytical capabilities, driving improved efficiency in Risk operations, consulting on Risk and Banking strategy in financial services, Board of Director membership, coaching and mentoring, promoting the advancement of women leaders, and being a spokesperson in the industry and community.

Karin has a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Utah. She is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) and has been a member of Advisory Boards, Committees and CCO Roundtables with organizations such as the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, the Risk Management Association, the Banking Policy Institute, the American Bankers Association, the Consumer Bankers Association, the Utah Bankers Association, the California Bankers Association, and the Utah Association for Financial Services.


An inclusive leader, Karin Lockovitch is passionate about giving back and advocating for and serving those in most need of protection, hope and opportunity.

She has focused her personal time and energy on advocating for the protection of children, particularly those in high risk and abuse situations, advocating for improved abuse prevention programs and educational services, and supporting programs that foster confidence and academic and professional pursuits in young women, and promote fairness and opportunity for working women. She has been on the Board of Prevent Child Abuse, Utah, Girls on the Run, the 4th Street Clinic for the Homeless, the United Way – Women United, and is currently on the Board of Directors of the Girls Scouts of Utah. diligently advocates for disadvantaged and victimized individuals.  She has stood as a board member for Prevent Child Abuse, Girls on the Run and the 4th Street Clinic for the Homeless. Inspired by the stories of individuals whom she has volunteered with, Lockovitch is passionate about motivating others to push forward. Currently, she volunteers for a local chapter of Children’s Justice Centers and is also active in children’s schools advocating for child abuse protection and services while promoting appropriate investment into critical services and technology.

A motivated mentor, Karin Lockovitch is a firm believer in empowering young women.  She is a proud member of various organizations and nonprofits that inspire motivation in young communities, including United Way and Girl Scouts of America.  Lockovitch also supports the courageous efforts of women’s leadership organizations that focus on equipping girls with strong leadership skills, such as Girl Talk and Young Women Empowered. Additionally, Karin has completed work as an executive sponsor for corporate women’s networks and mentoring programs. These programs are designed to build confidence in young women and create opportunity for underprivileged girls and women. A product of a generation of self-motivated women leaders, Lockovitch hopes to inspire the next wave of powerful young women as they enter the workforce.
